VSS 2 with new modem

If I change modem do I need to de-register old modem and then re-register new one? First post from technophobe, advice appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Neilsy71,

If you are using a different router with the same Sure Signal, you’ll just need to plug the unit into the new router and perform a reset.

If this doesn’t work straight away, give us a shout so we can go through more of an in depth setup with you.

Reset your Sure Signal:

For versions 1 and 2:

-Hold in the reset button until all lights go solid

-Pull the power lead out with the reset button still pushed in

-Continue to hold down the reset button and reconnect the power lead

-Wait for all lights to come on and then release the reset button
