VSS ON Fibre optic ? Plus net

I am about to have fibre optic installed at home, can I use it with my VSS. I have heard that they do not work with VSS which require PPPOE

Mine worked OK with my BT Openreach Modem and Technicolor router supplied by PlusNet. It is just getting it to work with other equipment you may struggle.
