Hi Pandacat22,

The 4 lights mean that the maximum number of active calls through the Sure Signal has been reached.

Once one of the calls has finished, you should see the third light flash and pick up a signal.

If you still can’t connect, we’ll need some additional information from you. Can you provide the following please:-

Your Sure Signal serial number.
Your speed test results from here.
Your ping test results from here.
Your external IP address from here.
The results of a traceroute.

VSS Traceroute command

On a PC:

Click on Start and select Run
Type CMD into the Run box and press enter/click ok
A black box will appear.
In this box type tracert 212.183.133.177 press Enter
Paste the output of this command into your reply.

Thanks,

Andrew

Hi,

The lights are on even with no one at home... So to speak!

Hi Pandacat22,

Thanks for posting your details. Looking at your serial number I can see it's been a while since your unit synchronised with our systems this end.

As such, I'm pushing a manual synchronisation through. Could you reset your Sure Signal and then give it an hour or two to come back online then post back the outcome for me? :Smiling:

Cheers, Ben

Reset last night. Left for 4 hours. All the lights came on. within a minute. Did a double reset. All the lights came on within 5 mintes. All still on this morning.

Hi Pandacat22,

I think this could be to do with the software on the Sure Signal.

I’ve asked for the new software to be pushed out to you, which will happen within the next 24 hours.

You’ll need to make sure that it is switched on and connected for this time.

Please keep us updated with any progress.

James

Still 4 lights on. slightly flickering and 2 lights on at the back with the yellow one flickery.
what do i do now?

Hi Pandacat22

Thanks for the update.

We’ll need you to try it on an alternative connection to see whether it’s a faulty unit.

Thanks

Simon
