VSS V1 stopped working

Hi,

 

my sure signal has stopped working, i have tried all the tests you recommend and i still only have a solid power light on my VSS V1.

 

details required are as follows:

Ah ok.

How long have you owned the device.

It comes with a 24 month warranty if all else fails.

Since 2010, more annoying is they are doing upgrade work around here so signal in house currently is "no service" most of the time!

Sorry your having so many issues all at once.

I hope your masts are sorted soon and that something can be achieved with your Sure Signal or it'll be £100 for a new device. 😕

Hi benjyjohnson,

 

If you using the original power supply, that could possibly be your problem. 

V1 power supplies are now deteriorating due to age and causing odd symptoms with the SS.

The power light being on is a red herring.

 

If you require one, they are readily available on Amazon or Ebay for around £10 delivered. 

Or you could have a look in your redundant power supply box for a 12 volt 1.5 - 2 Amp unit to test with.
