VSS Version 1 Lights 1,2 and 4 Solid but phone does not connect

Hi

 

For last 3 to 4 days the VSS version 1 has been running with lights 1,2 and 4 solid but not longer picks up my phone.

 

S/N of VSS is 21197144922.

 

Can you try a resync, push out new firmware (from another post) or investigate why the phone will no longer connect

should read cannot find the IP, request times out

I phoned up in the end and the tech guy put the resync through straight away.  He did say it can take 24hrs but 30 mins later I was working.

Good advice, just done the same so hopefully it will work. If not I am going to resort to Clarkson's favourite tool ie a hammer and fix it properly.

The issue you’re having is down to the firmware.

 

I’ve asked for the update to be pushed out, please leave your Sure Signal switched on and connected for the next 24 hours.

Operated SS1 for last 3 years with no problem until recently.

Run iphone 5 and Samsung Fame which haven't been able to connect for last week.

SS lights 1,2 and 4 solid. Have reset on numerous occasions without success.

Hi diddy100 and mozzas,

 

Please perform a factory reset as this should automatically send the latest firmware.

 

For versions 1 and 2:

-Hold in the reset button until all lights go solid

-Pull the power lead out with the reset button still pushed in

-Continue to hold down the reset button and reconnect the power lead

-Wait for all lights to come on and then release the reset button

 

If you're still having trouble, let me know the serial number and I'll take a look.

I understand the push of new firmware works - can you please arrange for that to happen today please?
