Looks as if its working well but when i try to make a call phone says - Not connected to network

Please go through the Sure Signal Troubleshooting thread as this may help you to resolve your issue.  It has links to the key things you can do to try and resolve the issue you are experiencing

I have done that and cant find this specific problem

Does anything in https://support.vodafone.co.uk/Network-and-coverage/Sure-Signal/ help.

For some unknown reason....turning it off, on, rebooting for the ....time it has now decided to work!!!

VSS Traceroute command

On a PC:

Click on Start and select Run

Type CMD into the Run box and press enter/click ok

A black box will appear.

In this box type tracert 212.183.133.177 press Enter

Paste the output of this command into your reply.

This will help us get the quickest possible resolution for you.
