My VSS2 has worked fine for a couple of years, until the last 3 or so weeks. I'm on the Virgin 150Mbps service, so there's bags of upstream and downstream bandwidth, and no general latency issues. Nothing special going on in the router, all of the other (very many) Internet-connected devices in the house working fine.
I've reset it a couple of times (reset button, 30 seconds, wait for lights to flash), but no improvement.
Serial number is: 40114256288.
Any diagnostics or firmware pushes that you can try from the VF end? Since there's no console or web interface on the VSS, there's not much else I can do.
Thanks.

Thanks, Kay.
The information requested is below.
After a reset, the VSS worked yesterday but only briefly (for one short call). Is it possible this is the PSU issue that I've seen mentioned elsewhere on this forum?
Regards,
Peter

The specific light sequence has been varying, from normal, to no white lights, to both white lights or just the LH white light flashing.
I've actually been able to initiate a couple of calls, but the call quality broke down mid-call and then dropped. Both white lights go solid, then both start flashing as the call breaks down.
This is leading me to wonder about the power supply issue that is mentioned elsewhere on the forum -- i.e., the VSS could be working OK until it has to deal with the additional power load of bringing up the 3G link.
Thanks.

Well, this has actually been working OK for the last 2 evenings, and I do seem to be able to make calls. I wonder what the issue was over the last 2-3 weeks?
Anyway, thanks for the help.
Regards,
Peter
