VSS3 stopped working - think it is an authentication issue

I started getting poor voice call quality over my VSS3 today, I did a reset of the device (pressing the reset button next to the ports for 20 seconds) and it seems to have made things worse.

 

Now when the device is on the red power light remains on and the Internet light is slowly flashing. At one point I did see the lights indicate an authentication problem (power: flashing, internet: off, in service: orange, in call: orange). This combination hasn't occured again though.

Hi @mrmattd

 

The Sure Signal is last showing as connected on the 01 June 2015 at 19:30.

 

Please make sure that IPSEC is ticked in the router settings.

 

You can also try a different Ethernet cable and to ensure that all the following ports are open as follows:

 

Ports to be opened for forwarding

  • 8 (TCP & UDP)
  • 50 (TCP & UDP)
  • 53  (TCP & UDP)
  • 67 (UDP)
  • 68 (UDP) 
  • 123 (UDP)
  • 500 (UDP)
  • 1723 (TCP & UDP)
  • 4500 (UDP)
  • 33434 - 33445 (UDP)

 

IP addresses to be allowed on the router & firewall

  • 183.133.177-179
  • 183.133.181-182
  • 183.131.128-191
