Lasted for about 3 days before starting to flash again. Re-booted it and has worked again since.

I'm having problems with my SS V3. It will work for about a week, then drops to flashing Power, Internet solid orange, and other lights off. A factory reset cures it for anywhere from 4 days to 2 weeks, then it goes again. This has been going on for a while. I previously had a SS V1 and had problems with that, but it was connected to the router via Homeplug adapters and I suspected that might be part of the problem. I got the V3 so that I could connect it directly to the router.

Not sure if it's relevant, but today I got a message saying that my SS appeared to have moved, and asking me to re-enter my postcode, which I did. However the problems had been going on for weeks before that.

I'd be grateful if someone could take a look.

SS serial: 40132741543

ISP: BT Infinity

Router: Asus RT-N66U, NAT passthrough enabled for all options (PPTP, L2TP, IPSec, RTSP, H.323, SIP, PPoE Relay enabled)

Ports opened: VSS has a reserved DHCP address on router and is currently in DMZ

Speed Test results: 32ms ping, 37.54Mbps download, 8.60Mbps upload

Ping Test results: packet loss 0%, ping 28ms, jitter 0ms

External IP: 109.150.187.66

Hi. Ever since I installed a SSv3 device, I have experienced an almost identical pattern of signal loss. My previous SSv1 device was more reliable. I thought , as do many others, that the signal drop out was due to my use of BT Infinity with a v 3 router. Your report suggests there is a more widespread range of customers experiencing intermittent signal. Please, please Vodafone come clean and sort the problem.

Took my SureSignal into a shop and the repair centre sent a pre-used one back as mine was not repairable.

I have no idea what happened and I don't want to tempt fate, but I reset my ss3 about a week and a half ago and it has been stable ever since.
I haven't changed anything at my end.
Long may it continue, but really want to know why it has suddenly started working...

Hi Bobin,

Thanks, I was on the verge of taking it in for a replacement but it kicked in last night after the re sync so it's had a reprieve.
