Vodafone Sure Signal - Reset

Hi, I don't have a Vodafone account or mobile number but I have a sure signal. Last time I tried to call with a issue, I got passed around 5 departments as I didn't have a Vodafone number! I'm giving on my sure signal as I no longer require this, it's currently registered under my address with an old number, how can I get this sure signal reset so it's not linked with my address and someone can use it again? Thanks
