Vodafone Sure Signal V3 not working - no lights

My Sure Signal has been working well since I bought it. However, it has now stopped working. All lights are off even though it is plugged into a live socket. I have tried a reset without success. I live in a place with poor signal quality and I am getting no signal or poor at best (1 out of 5). As I need a good signal to be able to respond as a Community First Responder, having a signal is vitally important. My wifi is working acceptably.

What light sequence you're seeing: No lights are on at all.

@chatfia2 – Your serial number is showing as deregistered.

Please reregister this on your My Vodafone account.

Thanks for letting me know.

I now can't find how to register it,

There is no mention of Sure Signal in My Vodafone, except for a .link to Vodafone Sure Signal, but when I click on it, I get details on how to buy it, but not how to register it,

Thanks

Hello again,

I have now registered my Sure Signal again - I eventually found a way to get to the registration page.

It says I have registered it, but it gave an error when I tried to add 2 extra numbers.

Now when I go to the same page where I could click on the 'Register Sure Signal', it says it is pendingActive.

However, there are still no lights on the SureSignal. I have unplugged it, and have reset it (both plugged in and not plugged in). Still no lights.

Any ideas?

Many thanks

A little more progress to report ...

Now I have had a text message saying that the Sure Signal is ready for use. However, I still have no service on my phone, and there are still no lights on the box itself. I still cannot add the extra 2 users I wanted to on the Add Users web page.

As ever, any help will be gratefully received.

Thanks

No power light usually means that the Sure Signal has gone into sleep mode. This can be caused if there has been a power cut.

Unplug it from the wall socket when you plug it back in, hold the reset button for no longer than 5 seconds. When released you should get a solid power light, if this does not happen repeat the process one more time.

If that does not bring the Sure Signal back to life it means that something has blown inside it. Due to how old the unit is it will no longer be in warranty. I’d recommend buying a new one.
