Hi,
We have a customer using a suresignal, before they moved site they had a Zyxel router, however since they have changed to using a Meraki Z1, the suresignal no longer works since,
However I have set up all the port forwarding rules and checked everything that has been suggested, I can see outbound attempts on port 4500 and then keepalives in packet captures but it still fails to work, is there anything further that you can suggest?
Kind Regards
Mike

Hi MB-Wl,
Thanks for supplying this.
I need you to supply some more information.
The serial number you've supplied isn't a valid number. It should be an 11 digit number starting with 2 or 4.
Please can you supply your ping test results from here. The first set looked very high.
Also can you confirm that these ports are open?

Hi Ian,
Apologies I gave you the Mac,
Serial Number is: 40122913342
I will get the test results to you asap.
Thanks

Hi Mike,
Thanks for supplying that information.
Did you check to make sure the following ports are open/forwarded on your router?
Port Number
8 TCP UDP
50 TCP UDP
53 TCP UDP
67 UDP
68 UDP
123 UDP
500 UDP
1723 TCP UDP
4500 UDP
33434 - 33445 UDP
I can see that the Sure Signal has been moved. Make sure it's left switched on for 24 hours so it can set itself up.
Switching it off during this time means it'll start the set up process again.
Thanks,
Ian
