Hey Nebcop,

The minimum requirements can be seen here.

We wouldn’t have visibility of your broadband speeds before you bought one.

If you can do a speed test from here and let me know the results, I can check them for you.

James

I have about 2.8 meg but was told by some pleb in Egypt that I needed
four meg for it to work

Hi Nebcop,

As you can see from the link, your connection should be more than enough.

For any issues with connecting via your Sure Signal, can you take a look at our Sure Signal Troubleshooting thread and then post back your results if you’re not directed to an existing thread?

Dave

I have the red power light flashing, the far right (telephone shape) solid, the green light where the cable plugs in is solid and the yellow light flashing very quickly, the sure signal is the latest plug in version

Hi, I do believe that it is working ok now, the BT engineer came out and did something at the exchange (changed wires over) and now the SS is working but whoever it was in Egypt was totally wrong in saying that I had to have 5meg for it to work, there are too many people in BT and Vodafone who are willing to fob one off with a crap excuse.
