Why is this happening? ??

I have just set up my sure signal and it seems to be working fine but when I connect my dongle and try to connect it to the network I get the message below!!! Hope someone can shed some light
Mobile Connection Error
Could not open network connection.
Check that the APN, user name and password in the current connection settings are correct.
If the problem persists, please try deleting the current connection settings, and re-starting the application.

Hi Hooligan,
The Sure Signal requires connection to a router on a wired broadband connection. With that in mind, I'm unsure why you'd then need to use a dongle rather than connecting either wirelessly or via Ethernet cable to the router.
Looking at the Sure Signal and dongle generally, can you start by making sure you have the latest Vodafone Mobile Broadband software installed?
If you have, are you able to connect to the Sure Signal using any other handset or device?
Can you also confirm what lights are showing on the Sure Signal box for me?
