I am having the same issues incoming calls ok, in/outgoing texts ok but cuts outgoing calls instantly. Have tested calling a friends phone and they instantly get a missed call but wont connect.
pingpath i have 0% packet loss to 188.8.131.52
and ping to my VSS ip address i get 0% packet loss.
I have UPnP enabled on my router set to broadcast every minute.

Hi guys, welcome to the eForum!
If what's affecting you is the exact fault described here, then it sounds like it's the SAC issue.
Cal542 - I've checked and we've got your email response, so we'll be looking to get this sorted as quickly as possible for you.
jeffer_cake - can you take a look at the troubleshooting thread I've linked to and, as long as the described reset does nothing, follow the instructions there to send us your details as well? The sooner we have everything the sooner we can get this sorted.

Same problem here. The Sure Signal has created a connection and I can receive calls, use data and send and receive sms messages but i cannot make any outgoing phone calls. Tested on both my phone and my son's iPhone 4. I followed the suggested steps in the troubleshooting thread without any joy in fixing the problem. Email sent to customer services with all of the required information. Not happy at all and may return this to the store if it does not work soon.

Hi, same issue here. Logged a call last Monday, but haven't had an update. Still unable to make calls from either of the two mobiles - get "Congestion" and the call fails. If I call the land line, it rings once then disconnects. I was told it may be related to the postcode not being set up correctly but had hoped this would be resolved by now. Any update would be appreciated, especially if it is the postcode and now long it normally takes to get resolved?

Hi GGKain and andyvoda
I am sorry to see that you are both having difficulties with your Sure Signal.
I have just sent you both an email, if you can reply back to that with as much information as possible, this will then go directly to our Sure Signal experts instead of customer services.
It does ask for as much information around the set up of the Signal box, so if you can give as much information, it really does help with getting a resolution.

Hi, I've heard this was postcode related, so I thought I'd run a test to rule out the configuration/settings at my end. My boss also has a sure signal, and has had no issues. So, I temporarily 'borrowed' his postcode. I updated my entry on the website, and watched as the router reset, signal on the phone went away then came back. Once this had completed, I was able to call the home phone, normally this rings once and disconnects. Hence, I'm pretty sure that my side is working, and that this is a setting at your side that needs to be changed in relation to my postcode. I've now returned the postcode to what it should be, which of course means that I can't make calls again. Hope this was helpful!

I sent an email on Tuesday regarding this matter and have yet to receive any information in return. I use Vodafone for business and am having to consider moving if I can't resolve this issue with Sure Signal.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the eForum
It sounds as though you are experiencing a problem with the SAC (service area code) for the area you're currently in.
It's covered on this thread here, if you follow the steps on this thred, and I can raise a case for you.

Hi have an IPhone 4 and now on 3rd box and still unable to make outgoing calls. 1st box worked for 3 weeks then failed then since then have had a new SIM card, changed router and ISP and 2 new SS boxes but still unable to make outgoing calls as getting 'call failed'.
latest today is now it is my phone that ran out of warranty 2 weeks ago! I have been trying to getthis sorted since Dec 2011 but still no joy. Based on all the issues on the forums it is not likely that it is my phone as it works perfectly everywhere else.
Can someone help me please
