help phone not picking up sure signal

I just bought a sure signal v1 serial number 21223121738.all the correct lights are on but my blackberry bold is not picking up any signal, its set for 2g and 3g and picks up 3g out and about with no problem. I desparatly need this sorted as I'm just wasting my contract at the mo as I cant use it. Please help x

Hi poppydog66,

Have you registered the BlackBerry Bold as a user for the Sure Signal and did you receive the confirmation text?

If you did, there shouldn’t be any reason why it’s not picking up 3G signal.

Checking your serial number, I can see it’s on an older version of firmware.

If you do a factory reset as shown below, it’ll update the firmware and also resync with our servers.

• Hold down the reset button until all the lights show/flash (about 30 seconds)
• Keeping the reset button held down, remove both the Ethernet cable and power lead
• Re-insert the power lead
• Once all the lights display, release the reset button
• When the Sure Signal is back online (around 5 minutes), re-insert the Ethernet cable.
