iPhone 4 won't connect to sure signal

My new iPhone will not connect to the sure signal booster. We have tried resetting the sure signal, turning the phone off and switching to airplane mode, all to no avail. We have spoken to an advisor who tried resyncing the sure signal, but still no luck. My previous Blackberry worked perfectly, I have kept the same number. Our signal is dreadful here, so while I'm at home at the moment my phone is useless. Any advice, please.

Hi Sue1962,

As well as Matt's tests, can you confirm what lights you're seeing on the Sure Signal?

Also, give the box a reset to refresh things:

For Sure Signal version 1 or 2:

  • Unplug the ethernet cable from the Sure Signal
  • Hold down the reset button until all the lights show (about 30 seconds)
  • Keeping the reset button held down, remove then re-insert the power lead.
  • Once all lights display release the reset button.
  • Plug the cable back in
  • Allow around one hour for the Sure Signal to come back online.

For Sure Signal version 3:

  • Unplug the ethernet cable from the Sure Signal
  • Locate the button on the base of the box next to the Ethernet ports
  • Press and hold the button for approximately 30 seconds
  • Once the lights come back on, release the button
  • Plug the cable back in
  • Allow around one hour for the Sure Signal to come back online.
