iPhone 5s call drops off with VSS

Hi,

My SS device (v1) is working as lights are steady and I do receive a full signal most if the time. However, when making or receiving a phone call, the call gets disconnected after about 2-3 minutes, although phone signal is still showing 5 bars. Both me andy wife have this phone and its happening with both of us. Without the SS at home I have virtually no reception. Phones work fine without any issue outside of our property. There's no load on the broadband either.

I have been reading in forum below that same issue was resolved by resyncing the SS.

Can you please do that for my one? SN is 21231103470

Hi @malcolmx187

If the Sure Signal is by the Wi-Fi this could be down to interference.

Please test the Sure Signal in a different part of the house.

If it’s still the same, please then try it at a different location, to help rule out a faulty Sure Signal.

Thanks,

Gemma

Hi @malcolmx187,

We've pushed a factory reset down to your device. This could take up to 6 hours to take effect.

If this doesn't mend the problem, try your SS in a different location.

Thanks,

Rodney

Hi Rodney,

Thanks for that. I tested it and it worked, I was able to stay on phone for 30 mins without getting disconnected, but afterwards the coverage on phone became 1 bar and stayed 1 bar, not going up at all, although lights 1,2 and 4 are solid on the SS........

Thanks,

Hi Gemma,

The SS device was located next to router. So I moved it to the other side of the room. Problem still persisted. But after about 5 days, the lights stay steady now and full coverage on the phones! Sometimes coverage goes to very low on phones, but I have to 'refresh' it by either making a phone call or switching phone off and back on again.

 Many thanks for your help!
