main number on account won't connect to vss v2

Hi,

My number is the lead number on the account. I had my phone stolen, and have just put a new SIM into an old phone (galaxy s3), but it won't connect to my VSS. I can see the 5 bars, but it says emergency calls only.

The phone will connect to a local site sometimes and allow me to connect to Vodafone, but won't connect through the VSS.

I have reset my phone, took battery out, etc, and it hasn't made a difference. My wife's S4 is working fine with the VSS, so I don't suspect the unit has problem...

Any ideas?

Sounds like your Sure Signal needs a resync.

When your phone tries to connect it sends the unique ID of your SIM card ot the sure signal as well as your number. As your SIM has changed this unique number will be different thus the Sure Signal won't allow it to connect.

If you post your SS serial number in this thread the eForum team can force a sync for you which should hopefully get you back up and running

Thanks Nabs,

The serial number is 40120512013

Hi eldrep,

I've done a resync for you, please do another reset to complete the process.

If this still doesn't resolve the issue then please deregister the Sure Signal for a couple of hours and then re-register.

Let us know if we can help further.
