no 3g signal - but all lights are working

Hi

My sure signal doesnt seem to be working - for both my and my wifes iphones

Suresignal ref = 40131143436 and its the version 3 type

The lights are all working fine, and indeed the "in use light" comes on when i make a call

However - im sure i used to see a 3G symbol on my handset?  I dont see that now on either handset

And our calls have really bad / waivering quality (my end).

It used to be fine but now despite not moving the call quality is all over the place.

Can you check if indeed there is a 3G signal /  connection working?

I just did a reset - and the same thing still applies.

Does it need a re-synch at your end?

Any help much appreciated

PS
i also looked at port fwding etc - but its too confusing.  I read somewhere that you might need 4 meg adsl i dont have that - ive only ever had 2-3 meg - but it used to work fine!?

Thanks - let me know if there is anything else i can provide

Hi - any feedback?

I have TalkTalk Dlink DSL-3780 router.

I think ive now put the port forwarding on now that ive read about (ie i got the SS ip address, fixed it as static in the router and then for that ip address ive added ports for 8, 50, 123, 500, 4500 and 1723) though it was working prior without this.  Doesnt seem to have made any difference.

Can you see if its working from your end?

Thankyou!
