Vodafone Sure Signal

can someone fix my sure signal s/n 40111015695 please,it has stopped working after a year with no problems.i have looked at the troubleshooting page,tried a reset but nothing,the power light and one white light are on.it has been like this for three days now.

looks like its going to be four days now,looks more likely that i will not be renewing my contract with vodafone.i have checked the coverage for my area and my house is the only one in our street that has very poor coverage with vodafone.

I had a similiar problem and did a reset - just by pressing the reset button for 10 seconds and this didn't do the trick.

What I found fixed it was pressing the reset for 10 seconds; keeping it pressed and pulling out the power; wait a few more seconds and whilst still holding the reset button reconnect power and then finally release the reset.   I have a series 1 VSS and after a while it reconnected.

Hi tonytango, 

Thanks for your post, we've resynced your Sure Signal this morning. Can you please perform a factory reset as detailed below and we've also flagged this issue to our support teams and are just waiting on a reply.

VSS Factory Reset

· Hold down the reset button until all the lights show (about 30 seconds)

· Keeping the reset button held down, remove then re-insert the power lead.

· Once all lights display release the reset button.

· The Sure Signal will come online in around 1 hour.

well nearly 5 hours later and it still don't work.

another day and its still not working,iam getting very p****d off now.can i get a refund on my line rental as i can't connect to the c****y vodafone network ?

Hi tonytango,

We have identified an issue on the cluster which your sure signal is connecting through which we believe is causing the problem.

This has now been resolved however, so that we can check this for you please can you perform another reset on the Sure Signal and let us know how you get on.

well its another day and it was working for about a hour this morning then it's stopped.please sort this out.

well vodafone you have excelled yourself s you got it working well for 2 hours anyway now it has stopped getting very very ###### off now i have to go out into my back garden to get some sort of signal.

look out IT'S WORKING at the moment,not bad only took 5 day's

and another day without any signal in my house.i can't wait for my bill to arrive i am ###### if i am going to pay it.
