Have a version 1 of suresignal and since upgrade of iphone have lost the signal - yes i have enabled 3G - my wife has a HTC and she has also lost signal - done all the usual checks on the suresignal only have one solid light on at the front (power) but have solid green light at LAN and flashing amber like the signal is going to the internet.
Have emailed vodafone to see if somehow iam blocked but since doing that I have another thought
If iam blocked and then get unblocked - Iam changing my isp to an unusual one at the end of the week (awaiting installation date) to solway communications (its a high speed internet by wireless - for solway area only)
Not sure if they use dhcp or static ip until they install - am i likely to be blocked as i change my ip address?
Am i better de-registering and re-registering?
Both myself and my wife are vodafone contract users and if we don't recieve a signal then we may look at other providers that can give us a service as we are both on call, I really dont want to spend another £100 on getting a new suresignal as my version 1 has worked since purchase and doubt its an issue with the hardware.
Have attached a picture of the serial number
Please be kind am not a techy and am in my 60s!!!!!

Watched the suresignal this afternoon, not sure whether you were trying to access it but it restarted 3 times and now i only have 1 light on which is the power light, not gonna touch it overnight in case it rights its self but i doubt it.

Hi g4jnw,
Thanks for providing all of those details. Give yourself a pat that you managed to perform the tests still before we had a chance to reply with the Mac instructions.
Looking at Serial 21230684272 there seems to have been an issue with an update way back on 17/06/2013. As such, I'm synchronising it manually now. To complete the action and push the update through, could you reset your Sure Signal unit for me?
Locate the button on the base of the box next to the Ethernet ports.
Press and hold the button for approximately 30 seconds.
Once the lights come back on, release the button.
The Sure Signal will come online in around 1 hour.
Let me know if you need any further help once you've done that!
Regarding your new provider, let us know the new IP details when you have them and we can check that it's pre-approved for you.
Cheers, Ben

Ben not sure whats happening, the sure signal completely went off and stayed off for a while 3 times now its back on 1 light (power) and no mobile signal still, i presume this was done from your end - do you think the box is faulty?

Still no mobile signal and only 1 light on - power
