I've just had a look at the sure signal and am a bit shocked at the price £100 seems very steep, I have 2 lines with Vodafone paying over £75 per month and i am then expected to shell out an extra 100 just so I can use my phone's indoors. Downside to living in the country 😞 looks like I'll have to keep using the home phone. Can't wait for my contracts to come to an end

The £100 is a subsidised price. Vodafone makes a loss at that price. This is a very complicated piece of technology.

You have to bear in mind that there is a huge amount of backend infrasturcture to these things that Vodafone do not charge you for using.

We have been using one ever since their introduction (as Access Gateway) which if I recall correctly was back in 2009, when you spread the cost over 5 years it doesn't seem that bad. The initial outlay may be painful but it's the best thing I ever purchased!
