VSS3 - think I broke it!

Hi,

Think I posted in wrong place, so...

I fear I may have upset my sure signal, which was working perfectly well for 1 year, before I had aspirations to set it up with a PPPoE modem via apple timecapsule (mistake).

Previously working seemlessly with BT homehub2, uPNP settings, with no port forwarding, clamping, etc.

(regrets!)

Anyway, to cut a long story short, I reset the suresignal device (if only I could turn back time), it now cannot connect. I have tried resetting it and leaving it>24 hours.

I switched back to the homehub, with no settings changed.

I've even forwarded the ports on the router to the VSS (confirm correct IP address). No joy :smileysad:

Then, tried de-registering for 24 hours and re-registering.

Tried resetting VSS a few more times. No success.

Guess needs re-sync at your end too? Perhaps IP address has been blocked? Need firmware resent?

If fixed, I promise to leave it well alone!

My setup:

BT, Homehub v2

SN of VSS: 40130449461

Jitter 1ms
Ping 33ms

Download speed 6.67Mbps
Upload Speed 0.38Mbps (same speed I always get - worked ok with this before)

Guess needs re-sync at your end too? Perhaps SN has been blocked? Need firmware resent?

Hi James,

I'm glad to see it all sorted itself out. It can sometimes take a couple of hours to re-sync if you change any hardware. If the same crops up again, feel free to let us know here so that we already have your details.

:Smiling:

Cheers,

Ben
