hello,
i have been using my v1 sure signal for a couple of years with no problems.
last week i inadvertantly turned off the plug. but when i turned back on, i have lost the 3g signal.
i have tried many of the comments on this forum already, i notice that the method described for a master reboot ( hold down reset button until all lights come on) doesnt appear to work on mine as after 30 seconds or so, the lights flash singularly in sequence instead, never all on.
i have a great broadband connection.
i have deregistered the sure signal and re-registered it.
rebooted the router, checked the router cable etc.
i just have the top 2 lights on - power and router connection only.
can anybody help please?
cheers

Hi jfennell66,
I've given the Sure Signal a resync, so you'll need to reset the box to pick that up.
If that doesn't help, can you check the ethernet lights on the Sure Signal for me? Are they lit, flashing or off?
Dave

hi dave, thanks for the reply,
as mentioned in my original post, my v1 sure signal box does not turn to 4 steady lights on after holding down the reset button for 30 seconds. instead i get a sequential flash of each light in turn.
i have tried your advice but it has made no difference, i still cannot get a 3g signal.
cheers

Hi jfennell66,
If the unit didn't work after an hours testing on an alternative connection and Ethernet cable then that would point to a fault with the Sure Signal.
Much like the phones we supply, the Sure Signal has a warranty on it for repairs. You can find out how to get yours serviced in-store or with Customer Services here.
Many thanks, Ben
