sure signal, very weak signal

We recently purchased a sure signal because the reception where we live is very poor and often we get no signal at all in our house.

when we first connected it there was an improvement but now even with the sure signal on the signal around our house is intermittent. You can be in the next room to the sure signal and get no phone signal.

I am currently sitting with my Iphone 3s only inches away from the Sure signal and at best I get two bars of signal strength.

My wife and daughter have samsung galaxy 4S's and they get a strong signal by the SS but weak elsewhere in our small house.

The lights are on as they should be and when one of the phones is in use the in use light illuminates on the sure signal

I have a Sky Hub router.

Hi Kharvey,

 

Everything looks fine with the tests that you’ve done and from what you’ve said the unit does work.

 

From what you’ve said it could be an issue with electrical interference, can you try a different Ethernet Cable and also move the Sure Signal away form the router to another plug socket?

 

Also, do you see any improvements if you turn data off on the phones?
