I have tried the reset button (holding it down, power recycling, letting it go) but to no avail. Can anyone advise please.

Broadband appears to be OK & other SS further way on same BT BB network are working OK.

I have the same issue.  Tried all the troubleshooting tips, phone is fine on 3G when elsewhere.  Have even de-registered and re-registered the unit with no luck.  Had previously been working for well over a year with no issues.

Hi mrbooth

Thanks for your post. Your tests are fine and your IP is whitelisted.

The Sure Signal does show as connecting our network at 00:34 this morning, so I’ve resynced it for you to push through any updates that you may not have received.

You’ll need to perform a factory reset as follows:

  • Hold the reset button till all the lights come on or flash (about 30 seconds)
  • Keeping the rest button held, remove and re-insert the power lead
  • Once all the lights come on or flash, release the reset button
  • The VSS should come online within the hour

How many phones are you trying to connect? Is it an issue with just one or all numbers?

Thanks

Simon

Hi Simon,

Tried the reset and all 3 lights are lit again but still no 3G signal.

Its 2 phones (both of which have worked perfectly witht he unit for ages) - an iPhone 4 and an iPhone 5.

Thanks,

Mark.

Hi there mrbooth,

Thanks for posting.

As this hasn't worked, I've forwarded your details to the 3rd line tech team for further help.

When thwey come back to me I'll let you know.

Hey arwenbwilson,

I've checked your VSS and it connected to our network on Friday morning.

How are things today?

If there's no change, please factory reset the VSS again but this time take the cable out for about 5 minutes.

Cheers,

LeeH
