Solution

v3 suresignal not working

Our Suresignal v3 keeps losing the connection to the Vosdafone network - the red light starts flashin and the last/far right  2 lights are also flashing. It does go back to being 'ready'. - although sometimes even in this mode my phone is not connected so I have no phone signal. I have had the Suresignal reset by Vodafone about a month ago but it keeps going off but then reconnecting for a while.

The suresignal is now a year old.

Is there a solution please?

Hi @AML14

Something in these self help troubleshooting tips may help.

My-sure-signal-has-stopped-working-what-should-I-do.

Vodafone-Sure-Signal-troubleshooting. Look at the 'Issue not listed' and post your Traceroute.

To note : The Sure Signal Device comes with a 24 Month Warranty.

You're welcome.

I've read that sometimes unplugging it and using another socket in the house can help too.

I wish you all the best.

Thanks. Turning off has done nothing. Will try adn reset then move to a differetn socket. Have posted full techincal post now.

The issue you’re experiencing: The Suresignal keeps showing the ' can't access Vodafone system' light sequence and will not connect to phones. It does right itself but there are times when phones will still not connect to it even when lights are showing 'ready' sequence.

What light sequence you're seeing: Flashing red light and too far lights are orange

@AML14

I’ve re-synchronized the device. This may take up to 24hours to fully connect. During this time, please don't reset or unplug the Sure Signal.

Once the 24 hour period has passed please perform a reset:

  • Unplug the Ethernet cable from the Sure Signal
  • Locate the button on the base of the box next to the Ethernet ports
  • Press and hold the button for approximately 30 seconds
  • Once the lights come back on, release the button
  • Plug the cable back in

Allow around one hour for the Sure Signal to come back online.
