why does sure signal work on my phone but not my husband's?

My husband and I both have iPhones.

We have no signal at home. None. We bought a sure signal box. We set it up as per instructions. We added both our numbers to the user list.

My phone is getting perfect signal now, but my husband still has nothing, no signal at all. Not even a bar.

We checked and he definitely has 3G signal and he regularly uses 3G when it's available out and about.

What else can we try?

Hi @Mcdowella770

That's a conundrum if it works for your Vodafone number but not his Vodafone number !

Please double check his number is showing as added.

Also sometimes turning off 4G in the phones settings forces it to search for 3G only and connects better to the SS.

Thanks for you reply.

We have double and triple checked his number in the sure signal acount and turned off his 4G.

Still no joy.

He now tells me that periodically he gets a fleeting glimpse of 4/5 bars signal and then it goes again almost immediately.

What on earth could be going on here?

You're welcome. :Smiling:

Can you try removing his number and re add it.

Thanks, done. Even de/registered it, and done a rest on it. Curses. Will have to call. Hate calling/live chat. Can never get good enough service out of non first language speakers.

No worries.

Hope all goes ok.

Dave, thanks for your reply! Great news. We fixed it - after much nagging (of course), I pursuaddd hubby to 'refresh network connections' and all of a sudden he had sure signal beaming through!!
