I have purchased a Lumia 800 as part of a 24 Months contract. I'm just wondering if I could request the unlock code for it now without terminating my contract ???

Thank you for your post, it is great to see you.

You can request your Network Unlock Code without penalty as you are on a Pay Monthly agreement, this would only be charged at £19.99 if the device was not attached to your account or was on PAYG.

Hi, 

I have requested and got a reply from your NUC team saying the phone has to be active on Vodafone network for at least 15 days before it can be unlocked. Please could you confirm this for me? I'm on 24 months contract, not PAYG.  Cheers.

Does all Lumia 800 purchased from Vodafone are unlocked ? I placed my friend's O2 sim card into the phone and it worked.

Thanks for your post here. Sorry about that, I think Dave got a little mixed up. All contract handsets (With the exception of BlackBerry and Apple devices) come unlocked as standard, so you will not need to unlock your Nokia.
