Hi there. 

Have had a Lumia 900 for a few weeks now, and previously picture messages came through no problem at all, but now i'm getting 'Get Media Content Now'.

I set up a new APN, but still no joy.

Any thoughts?

Hi

A couple of checks you could try:

- Are you able to get on the internet?

- Is the problem receiving from one number or multiple numbers

- What happens when you try and send an MMS to your own number? (this will narrow down if it's a fault with just one MMS file, or it's affecting more than one)

- Is the problem happening in one or multiple locations?

You could also try sending the settings to the phone (information here)

Thanks for your post. If you could follow the guidelines suggested by redpages above and post back with the relevant information we'll be able to investigate this further for you.

What is the APN that you have showing in your settings? Can you remember what the previous APN was before you changed?

I am also having this problem, I have called Vodaphone twice, sent a MMS to myself still doesn't work, tried adding my own APN settings, deleted APN Settings, and selected Vodaphone UK, Vodaphone Prepaid.  All of which hasn't worked!! I have also sent web to 40127, and still haven't received anything frmo that I have done that 4 times!!

To be honest I have no clue how to fix this!!

Hello,

I had exactly this problem with my HTC Titan but only when I was at home/work connected to Wifi.

My workaround at the moment is to turn the Wifi off and restart the phone. Then MMS works.

Hey Guys,

I went into Vodafone Glasgow today and the guys were excellent.

Took them a wee bit but they managed to work out what was wrong!

As well as setting up your 3G/MMS Settings in the nokia app you need to put some manual settings into the APN Settings tab as well.  I had done this on my phone  but it was wrong!  Anyway here are the steps.  All working perfectly now

Network Setup

Operator:vodafone UK

Exit the app then:

Settings

Mobile Network

Add/Edit APN (right at the bottom of the screen)

APN: wap.vodafone.co.uk

Username:web

Password:web

Save and thats is done!
