Right! Currently in class so dont have an opportunity to ring Vodafone BUT I WILL!

Phone ran out of juice, connected it directly to plug and nothing!!

Have tried all usual tricks and tips and nothing!

This is my SECOND Nokia Lumia and to say Im furious and completely sickened in an understatement!

Please someone give me some advise regarding this

p.s. have tried all the usual combinations of holding and releasing buttons!

Very strange, you do have to hold the bottom 3 buttons: Camera, Power, Volume down and it will vibrate.

Do this while it is connected to the power and it should power up - works for me

No none of the usual fixes are working Its time to phone Vodafone yet again!

I know of one instance where someone had to leave their device connected in for a long period of time for it to even register the charge, have you also tried another USB cable?

Also try the key combination holding it down for longer than a few seconds and see if that kicks it it.

I must say since the update i have only had to do this once now and it was after a device crash not a power issue.

This is not so very strange..is actually very upsetting.

My rubbish Nokia Lumia died back in February, had to sent it for repair and died again 4 days ago.

I HATE THIS PHONE.

will never ever get a Nokia smart phone again ( and I was a big fun of nokia phones ) 

sorry don't have any advise for you but I totally understand how upset you must have felt.

Mines working perfectly

A strange fix but I layed it down, turned the hair dryer on and applied heat to the rear of the nokia for 3/4 Minutes and wala!
