What do we think of this new product range?

Re: Nokia and Windows 8

I was impressed over all, shame the event had a few techincal problems. I went thome thinking I would upgrade my Lumia 900 to a 920.

Was surpised to see the negative effect on Nokia shares but understand the market needs specific details on market, date and price and sadly Nokia failed to deliver - again. The clock is ticking . . . .

Re: Nokia and Windows 8

Given the N8 debacle (anounce in march, release in october) the markets are right to worry about a lack of date for release,

Also there's no wow factor with these phones,

After the 808 release the hope was the pure view in the 920 would be of a similar type, but despite the clever technology an 8mpx camera is never going to generate a buzz

Hope I'm wrong but I'm not seeing a killer selling point,

Would still like to have a play with a 920 if one becomes available tho

Re: Nokia and Windows 8

Just looking purely from a UK perspective it seems from Nokia's specs that these can work on LTE 1800 networks so will be compatible with EE's 4G network so they will  probably want to sell  it. However I wonder how the other networks will see this. Do they really want to push a phone that will only work to it's full potential on a rival network? Maybe Vodafone and the others won't bother with it.
