just got nokia 710 and cannot connect to pc i have connected via usb cable what should i do

Options
If you have not already done so then install Zune from www.Zune.net

When connecting a WP8 device to a pc it should automatically detect if it has been installed and if not take you straight to the page. If it does not do this then just go to the page and download.

If when you have Zune installed the PC still does not detect the phone then try the phone in a different USB port, if this still does not work then its possibly an issue with :

The cable
Phone
or PC (USB ports)

Try a different cable, connecting it to a friends PC if neither of these work then its an issue with the phone it's self.
