#i purchased a nokia lumia 800 on a contract, however previous to thisI had a bigger sim card therfore i went throught the activation steps and it has been 24 hours and still my phone is telling me theat my SIM is invalid, i have gone through turning my phone off and on many many times. i tried to do the activation again to see if i did somthing wrong but when i type all the code in it says this SIM has already activated. any help would be great thanks.

Thanks for you post. It's not clear whether the purchase of your Nokia Lumia 800 was a new connection or whether it's an upgrade and you're transferring your existing number from the old to the new SIM.

Did you you activate your sim online? If so its rather hit and miss. Phone customer services, it should then be activated within ten minutes

i had the same issue. all you need to do is activate your sim online
