I phone 5c faulty

Got an iPhone 5c just been on charge heard a pop looked at my phone and the screen has cracked does this mean phones faulty any body had this problem

Hi. I'd imagine it could be a number of things from a faulty battery, device, charger or a power surge. Your best option would be to take it to an Apple or Vodafone retail store to investigate / confirm what options you'd have available under warranty and repair.
