Mobile wifi

I cannot connect to my mobile wifi unit. I was able to connect easily with my old mobile phone (iPhone 4s). The unit suggests that I am connected as does the app butI cannot connect to the Internet/Facebook/ emails etc.
Does anyone else have a similar problem and if so what needs to be done to resolve it?

Hello @Woody54

 

Can you try forgetting the device in the iPhones Settings. 

 

And or try 

 

Settings -> General-> Reset -> Reset Network Settings.

 

Have you checked the Vodafone Network Checker.

Is all looking Ok with Network Signal. 

 

Which "mobile wifi device are you using ? And has that been reset too. 

 

Do other phones still work ok with it ?

Yes there is a network signal. Other phones work with the device which is a Vodafone Mobile Wi-Fi R207.

Yes it is. I have now logged into our home wifi so there's no problem with access to all that I need but it's frustrating that I cannot connect away from home, especially when there was never an issue with my previous iPhone.
Having said that I am very pleased with the 6s plus.
Thank you for taking the time to try to help but I'm getting fed up with it now and I think that I need to focus on something else!

As a leaving tip on this then try updating to the most recent iOS which is iOS 9.2.1.
