New Sim, No Service

Hi, I got a new sim for my new phone on Wednesday but kept my old number. This was activated by a memeber of staff in a Vodaphone store. I still, however, have 'No Service'. What should I do?
Thanks

Hi,

Has service stopped on your old sim yet which indicates the swap has started ?

A sim swap usually takes minutes but can be up to 24 hours. One I did once took two days.

When services stop on the old sim turn airplane mode On and Off every 30 minutes or so to help the process.

Alternatives are ;

On the iPhone hold down the Power & Home button together until  Logo shows then release both & the iPhone will reset

Other options are :

Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset Network Settings.

If this does not complete soon then the sequence has glitched or the new SIM card coukd be faulty.

I would return to the store and ask for the sim swap to be actioned again to a new blank account specific SIM card.
