No service new ipad

I have just received my new iPad but it's saying new service, it's a new number and a new contract, I've tried to activate it but this seems to only bring up sim swap options, anyone know what I need to do?

The quickest way to resolve your problem is if possible to visit a Vodafone store with the iPad and sim and ask them to activate the sim for you.

 

Generally they can get the sim activated within a few minutes and you should be in a postion to leave the shop with everything working.
