Yes! The whole world gets to order the new iPhone today, for delivery next Friday. For those of us that always order on the first day, we know the debacle tat follows as the first load of stock sells out in minutes.

I don't discount what your saying in relation to your own experience.
I'm going on my own experiences with Apple Launches and what I've engaged in on forums.
My belief is Nothing is guaranteed until it's dispatched.

However we do see the fall out on forums from people who's dates have slipped due to shortages etc. Then the debate of if its the Network is at issue for not ordering enough units or Apple is withholding units for their own stores etc.
