Hi

You would need to check out the frequency bands that the iPhone has in to (these can be found on the American version of the  site ) and see if it includes the frequencies that Vodafone use.

Frequencies used on the Vodafone UK network
Frequency Protocol Class
900 MHz GSM/GPRS/EDGE 2G
1800 MHz GSM/GPRS/EDGE 2G
900 MHz UMTS/HSDPA/HSPA+/DC-HSPA+ 3G
2100 MHz UMTS/HSDPA/HSPA+/DC-HSPA+ 3G
800 MHz LTE 4G
2600 MHz LTE Advanced

The Network does not support Volte yet so it's impossible to say either way.

It's also not 100% guaranteed that if the American iphone version has the frequencies that Vodafone that it will work.

Also check any specific  warranty as some warranties only cover a device for the country it was released to be used in.  have an online chat system or ask in the American  store.

Current Phone  >

Samsung Galaxy s²³ Ultra 512gb Phantom Black.

Vodafone doesn't support VoLTE yet although, like Wi Fi calling, it is being worked on and will come at some stage in the future.

If you look here you will see that the UK uses models A1586 and A1524 (we only have GSM).

http://www.apple.com/iphone/LTE/

So just make sure that you buy one of these "Unlocked" models from the Apple Store and it will be the sameone sold in the UK.

See below From the Apple US website:

Purchasing an unlocked iPhone means you will not qualify for the lower iPhone price associated with a contract or a carrier installment plan. The unlocked iPhone 6 model is A1586. The unlocked iPhone 6 Plus model is A1524. The T-Mobile iPhone 6 model is A1549. The T-Mobile iPhone 6 Plus model is A1522. For details on LTE network support
