iPhone 5 top button not working!!

On my iPhone 5 the top button has stopped working!! How much would this cost to get fixed and would it be needed to be sent away!?

If you have an  store local a Genius Bar could look at it for you via an appointment via https://www.apple.com/uk/retail/geniusbar/

Be aware  offer a 12 month warranty unless  care+ was purchased.
