moving to australia

I've just ordered the Iphone 7 on a brand new 2 year contract here in the UK. I'm potentially moving to Australia in January, just wondering if Vodafone will still let me use my contract as if i was in the UK over there but on the Vodafone Aus system kind of thing??? does anyone know? i'm happy to pay a charge if they will do it but paying of the whole contract right now would be too expensive and it would be fustrating to have to pay the bill each month whilst im there and not be able to use it...

thanks

Hi @cmwill1234

That won't be possible, Vodafone Australia is a separate company.

Your contract will be with Vodafone UK with a UK number.

You do have a 30 day cooling off period from opening up the contract to cancel it.

Okay thank you!
Do you know if you can freeze your contract until your back in England?

Unless you are in the armed forces being posted for a tour of duty to a combat zone that won't be possible.

My sister did that, so thought I may be able too... but she is in the armed forces so that makes sense :Smiling:
