I know the options are very limited for now.

But has anyone come across any decent cases for the Iphone 4, just looking online there doesnt seem to be any that look right. They all seem to drastically change the style of the phone (whether its because they are purple or because they have odd textures.

Im thinking about just getting a £4 rubber job from amazon to keep it safe until there are some proper cases available.

Personally, I have a lot of faith in hard cases - my 3GS survived many a careless butter-fingered drop thanks to them. I will be getting a bumper case at some point - I like having the back exposed

Maybe some of the community can advise some?

I had an Incipio feather case for my 3G and loved it, it hardly makes your phone any bigger, as it is soo thin, but still protects it nicly from bumps and scratches. I emailed INCIPIO yesterday and they said their new feather cases fro iphone 4 will be available next week hopefully. Check them out on the website, they look really good. There are other cases on there too if you want a bit more protection, but at the cost of size.

I got a free bumper case yesterday from the Apple store, the Vodafone sim cards were delayed by a few hours and since I'd been waiting since 4.30am they gave me one for my trouble!

It looks like it'll completely protect the phone, if dropped on to a flat floor. It over hangs the edges so when you put your iPhone down it won't be resting on the glass back. I don;t like having the back completely naked though since it'll be rubbing in my pocket, as I have heard, although the front is very scratch resistant, the back isn't. So I'll be getting an invisible shield today and I think I should be sorted! They have a lifetime guarantee too. Bumper and screen protecter means, protected but still sexy and almost naked

I got myself one of the ("official"?) iPhone 4 'bumper' cases and it works very well. It also prevents the "alleged" left-handed hold signal 'problem'.

The official bumper is good, very well made and looks good. Only had black at the Apple store, was fancying green.

I used a "Zagg" Front and back protective cover and have bought a bumper!

(Gonna have to wait a day for the cover to dry properly before i put the bumper on though, don't wanna peel off the new cover! Lol)

I am not sure as I have not seen the Apple ones but chances are they are the same but you'd pay a lot more for the "official" Apple one.
