Blackberry data messages to new iPhone 4s

I have recently upgraded from a BB Bold 9700, to the Iphone 4S.  The problem I have is I am receiving numerous messages from network@etp4-5.etp.eu.blackberry.net as follows:

This message is used to carry data between the BlackBerry handheld and an associated server. Please do not delete, move or respond to this message - it will be processed by the server.

Does anyone know how to stop these messages at source?  Or is it simply a case of blocking them?

Appreciate any help.

Re: Blackberry data messages to new iPhone 4s

I would suggest that you login to http://www.mobileemail.vodafone.net/ and decactivate the email addresses you have associated with your old Blackberry.

I think the e-mail address responsible is a work one I still use, either way, they come through on that address inbox on the iphone, but not my hotmail that I also have setup.

Is the work address an enterprise address from Exchange Server? if that is the case you will need to get your system administrator to disconnect your account from their BES server as the iPhone uses ActiveSync - sorry for the tehcnical mumbo jumbo.

Re: Blackberry data messages to new iPhone 4s

Thanks again, yep, the mumbo jumbo is a bit over my head!  As you might have guessed I'm not much of a techie!

I tried to log in to the link you provided, but have no knowledge of my log in details.

The work e-mail address used to reach my blacberry via the bb redirector software, linked to Outlook.  About a month before I changed to the IP, I upraded the BB software, and lost the redirector for the remainder of my time with it.  During the following month before I changed handset, I only got my hotmail to the BB.

I have passed on the BB to my son, is it possible the problem lies with the old handset?

Again, any pointers gratefully accepted.

If you go into email setup on the phone it is the same as logging into that website although you will need to know your password.

Have you performed a factory security wipe on the handet to birng it back to factory conditions?
