I have been speaking to Simon on here over the last few days and have to say I've had excellent service. Granted, he can't arrange for my iPhone 4S to be delivered tomorrow die to a problem with pre-orders on some existing iPhone accounts, however he has called back every time he has said he would and am confident he will call me tomorrow 1st thing to place my order for delivery on Saturday. I have to say telephone CS leave a lot to be desired, but the guys on here certainly do take things on board and are doing there best. Bearing in mind the massive interest there has been in the iPhone 4s, I'm sure they are working extra hard at the moment.....Keep up the good work guys....

That is despite everyone rabidly posting on here for the last week and many promises that they will be delivered tomorrow.
Now you're saying Simon has told ONE person out of the hundred or so who have posted something pretty important that he hasn't thought to tell the rest of us... Definitely excellent.

They are trying, but there will always be someone who just simply wants a moan about everything and nothing is ever enough for them!
Good to see a positive post showing encouragement for the staff that are trying to keep people happy and informed.

How are they providing excellent service if a lot of people on here aren't going to receive their phone as promised tomorrow? And instead of managing our expectations and telling us, which I'm sure would be absolutely fine, they're just not saying anything to us.
I fail to see how that is excellent service.

However, they have stated it would be on a first come first served basis and if what the original poster said is true then they have let us down because that hasn't happened.

I have resigned to just seeing what happens and if it turns up tomorrow, great, if not, oh well, I wont loose any sleep over it. I have a fully functioning iPhone 4 running iOS5 so I guess i'm quite lucky.

I have to disagree! In the last few years the eforum staff have been excellent BUT the last 2 weeks it has been terrible; no updates, conflicting information and nobody willing to go that extra yard never mind the extra mile!
What i will say before i am shot down is I dont blame the mods tho - they are no doubt doing all they can with what they have. It is higher up the chain that needs to be looked at and put more members of staff onto the forum to deal with the demand here!I

I do think phone CS is taking a the preverbial, If I lied about various bits and pieces in my work I would get strung up, but they don't seem to be held accountable for the BS they keep spreading.
I think also - users are contacting the wrong CS department. I know I did - so perhaps CS are talking about general sale orders which is why people are getting their wires crossed?
