Hello
I'm not sure if this is the correct section to post so apologies if it is wrong!
My first Iphone arrived last week and I got it working on Saturday, and it has been great love it but its developed a problem....
I am still getting notifications of new emails (but not all the time) but when I go to read them all I get to see is the subject line, I've not altered any settings or anything I tried taking the account off and putting it back on again but still no joy.
Any ideas what I can do? And if you have any ideas could you post the dummys guide on how to solve it!!
many thanks

Odd one!
What kind of email account is it? Who is the provider? And do you know if it's using IMAP, POP or Exchange?
When you say you only get to see the subject line, do you mean for example, if you go to your Inbox all you see is the subject and no preview, or is it when you actually try to load an individual message only the subject appears?
If it's in a message, there is a refresh button in the bottom left of the screen. That should trigger the rest of the message to download. Does that do anything?

I'm glad someone else thinks its odd!!
Its happening to my Hotmail and GoogleMail one which is making it even stranger!
Its when I open the email up I have tried the refresh button and you can see it refreshing by the symbol in the top right corner but it doesn't show up the message
I don't know what they are using but thing the google email one is through the exchange
I would load a photo but I can't as I'm at work, but if your on twitter I can tweet you it, my name is the same as on here

In Settings > Mail > scroll down to preview and select '5 lines' that should then display the first 5 lines of emails.
For Hotmail I have found that setting the account up using 'Add account > Other> is better than using Exchange for Hotmail. I receive 40-50 mails through Hotmail every day and never have a problem reading them with the setup above.

I've just thought of something.
When not in the Mail app, double press the Home button and swipe until you find Mail.
Then press and hold the Mail icon until it starts wobbling.
Click the red button, this will close it properly.
Now open Mail again, it should work now.
