iPhone 4 and 4S

well i wish i had read this forum before upgrading to a iphone 4s, WOW  so many waiting and still no phone. i have just checked stock on every iphone in the list and not one of any kind 16g to 64g in stock!

I have no confirmation email of my order or upgrade yet i see my tariff has already been updated in my vodaphone account. nice to think iam paying for somthing i havnt recived yet and not likely to get for a good few weeks.

what a crazy situation for vodaphone to be in, it would have been nice to have been told this via CS before upgradeing my tarrif ect as i would have just left it untill phones were in stock and ready for dispatch. I dont mind waiting a while for the phone but to be paying for it while i dont even have it is a bit much.

oh well hopefully before xmas i might get it!

I was slightly miffed by the immediate price increase also.

The paying for something you haven't received yet is an interesting argument.

Technically you have received what you're paying for, your monthly allowances have increased and available to use immediately.

Though I appreciate it isn't much consolation when you haven't yet received the reason for your upgrade yet... I was lucky not to be waiting too long though.

To be honest what miffs me more than anything is not being told how long the wait will be for the phone, plus paying the increased tariff in advance. if CS had said it might be 2 to 3 weeks i would have said ok i will call back after a few weeks and see what the situation is.

But no, I was told i would get a confirmation email of my upgrade, ( no email yet ) and a dispatch email when dispatched. but upon looking at my vodaphone account to which i have 4 phones for all my family on i see my tariff has been upgraded already, real quick! same day infact but iam still yet to get an email of my upgrade let alone a dispatch email.

fair point iam getting the extra on the tarrif, but lets also be fair and say you pay extra for the iphone 4s in the tariff anyway as the phone price is built into it, would be nice if vodaphone was as quick with the emails as they are with tariff updates. and i would also like to have the phone iam paying extra on the tariff for to be able to use the tariff features.

it seems vodaphone need to be honest with there customers or they will lose them.

It is an absolute disgrace. I'm absolutely bemused as to how they think this is acceptable business practice. But the sad reality of it is, short of cancelling our contracts and taking our business to a proper company such as 3, T-Mobile or O2, all we can do is wait.

Ive been having a read on other forums about Iphone 4s CS and deliveries and oh dear vodaphone is being hung out to dry!

well i cant hang around here anymore as no stock updates till 8am, which means vodaphone have no Iphones at all in the 4s and are very unlikely to have a delivery on a sunday night before 8am anyway. so you all know what its going to say after 8am tomorow, NO STOCK!

I'm sorry about the experience you've had so far.
