iPhone 4 and 4S

When I originally looked at the iPhone 4s ordering screen on my iPad (so the mobile site) it says plans over 40/month get 25mb data in Europe (so data traveller as I understand it). I ordered and later saw on vodafone main site it's only for plans with over 1200 mins. Can you confirm that I will be getting Mobile Broadband Continental Daily with my 41/month tariff please?

Could someone also confirm that tethering data comes from the same allowance now - not a separate £5/month?

I'm also suffering the seemingly common problem of being charged 4 times on my card ... Hoping this will resolve itself.

I can't comment on the former but can confirm that tethering is included as standard and will use included data allowance at no extra charge.

My confirmation email for the £41 24 month tariff specifically mentions having Mobile Broadband Continental Daily.

I also thought I would get the Mobile Broadband Continental Daily option included on my £41, 18 months contract. It is the only reason I went for the slightly more expensive plan as I would really benefit from the internet allowance while abroad.

I would be really disappointed if the option is not applied to my contract! I am fairly sure I saw it being listed in the description of my price plan but I cannot see it in the My Plan page for my account.

Can one of the mods please confirm?

I have now spoken to someone from the retention department and he told me I don't have that option on my contract, even though the website clearly states that every contract over £41 will receive the option for free. Can you please explain why? 

I can't understand why things so simple and straightforward should be so complicated. Either the option is on or it isn't! I should not be chasing this answer from three different Vodafone sources, without any success!

When I signed up at the weekend the website was still saying Mobile Broadband Continental Daily was on all plans above £40.  I've also had an email entitled "Your Vodafone Renewal" which states on the right hand side bar

"Your Plan comes with 900 minutes, 750MB mobile internet, including Mobile Broadband Continental Daily, 2GB BT Openzone Wi-Fi and unlimited texts."

I hope Vodafone honour that as I too went for a more expensive contract to have that option.

Unfortunately mine doesn't! 

I discovered since by talking to someone else on the phone that the plan is only available for certain price plans and not others over £40, contrary to what the website stated at the time of ordering. Also I have noticed that the What's included window that pops up when clicking through Plan details on the order page, still list the option as being available for every plan over £40. 

Now this is not what I call correct information! 

Can any of the mods please contact me to see if we can fix this?

Could someone from Vodafone respond to this thread please? I also signed up to a £41 a month tariff (600mins 12 month) under the belief that the Mobile Broadband Continental Daily service would be included - this is stated in the plan details pop-up on the main website and also on the mobile website. Reading this thread and other contradictory information I'm not so sure now. I would be grateful for confirmation that this service is included otherwise I would have remained with o2.

Ditto - exactly the same plan as you, although I'm not clear whether this means Mobile Broadband Continental Daily is free as I already had the £2/day DT on my old plan (£36, 300mins/unlimited texts/500MB data) so does this mean I now won't have to pay the £2/day? Hope so, as we're off to Bruges for a weekend next month!

On my previous contract, I had both added the £10 bundle for a month and used the £2 a day option.  At no point did the website show Mobile Broadband Continental Daily as part of my contract.  I'm presuming we were lucky enough to get that then the contract changed.  Perhaps one of the mods could clarify whether listing "Mobile Broadband Continental Daily" as I specified means the £10 a month option is bundled as part of your contract

The website didn't for mine either, but the Your Plan tab on the iPhone app did

There are two different situations here:

Having Mobile Broadband Continental Daily on your account- means you pay just £2 for 25mb per day in Europe (this could be included in your plan)

Some plans come with Mobile Broadband Continental Daily free of charge so you get 25mb per day in Europe at no extra cost.

Has a moderator looked at this yet?  I've upgredd to the 4S and my new tariff says:

'Your Plan comes with 900 minutes, unlimited texts, 750MB mobile internet, including Mobile Broadband Continental Daily and 2GB BT Openzone Wi-Fi.'

My Confermation email syas:

'Includes

+ 2GB of Wifi from BT Openzone

+ 750MB of Mobile Internet and Webmail

+25MB of Euro dat roaming included per day'

Can a Vodafon rep confirm that the above means I don't have to pay the xtra £2/day as long as I don't exceed the 25MB limit?

I would like to have all the info in place before deciding whether to scrap the pre-order and re-do the whole thing from scratch elsewhere...

Hi Everyone,

Mobile Broadband Continental Daily is now on plans of 1200 minutes or more. There are some examples where our website said it was available on the 900 minute £41 plans, and we'll honour this up to the point the information was corrected.
