Hi,

My boyfriend upgraded his iphone on Saturday 7th April and told the guy in the shop that the old iphone would be given to me (I am on o2). He unlocked the phone there and then and told me that it would be available to use in a maximum of 3 days.

We're now 10 days along and still have not received a code or any acknowlegement of the request.

How long does this normally take?

As you can imagine this is highly frustrating.

Any help would be appreciated

When you unlock an iPhone you dont get send a code.

Once Apple have processed the unlock request all you need to do is connect the handset to iTunes with your new networks SIM card and iTunes should download the new settings for you.

I have been continuously connecting the phone to itunes and still get the following message:

'The sim card inserted in this iPhone does not appear to be supported'

After 10 days surely they should unlock it?

There has maybe been an issue with the request somewhere down the line.

You may want to try re-requesting via the online Unlock Code Request Form

I have applied on that online form 4 times now! All I want to do is use my phone, can this be tracked? I cannot call Vodafone as they need my boyfriends details, and their customer service are quite rude to non customers I find
